A Brief Notice from Quillburrow’s First Chronicler

Quillburrow has been unusually insistent lately — shifting shelves, rearranging corridors, and dropping the sort of hints only a sentient building would consider subtle.
Which suits me fine, because I, Quillburrow’s First Chronicler, am finally retiring from my post before the place drafts me into another century of note-taking.

What happens next is entirely up to you.

When Quillburrow opens in early 2026, your first task will be deciding what kind of world this becomes.
Do you want a new guiding figure to replace me — a head of the Burrow, a strange creature, a council, a trio of mildly argumentative tomes?
Or would you rather leave the place leaderless, letting it grow however the community shapes it?

Perhaps Quillburrow becomes a school of peculiar magic, where lore is studied, misinterpreted, rediscovered and occasionally set on fire (accidentally, one hopes).
Perhaps it becomes a wandering tavern, where locals gather to compare creature sightings.
Perhaps it becomes something no one has named yet.

The only thing we know for certain is that this place will be overflowing with fantasy — creatures, hidden rooms, mysteries, and ideas in every direction.

You’ll draft, discuss, vote, and help decide which version takes root.

And if this message seemed a touch cryptic (the Burrow insists on dramatics), the About page offers a far less mysterious explanation of how things work around here.
